Ike’s !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is in exactly a month and a day. As far as I know, only 5 or 6 people have signed on, not including Ike. I’ve already put down money and days off for this so I’m fully committed, but I’m just unsure what the turnout is going to be like or what’s in-store when we get there. I’m just posting a reminder since it gives everyone here about 30 days to commit. Looking forward to seeing faces to put usernames to and driving the Dragon once more!

I was ready to sign up then rechecked the dates and I’ll be in the Dominican Republic . The ISF was ready for another 1000+ Miles too

Oooooh, I’ll have to see about doing this! Just gotta decide which car to bring... I can either fall slightly behind in the Soul, or fall off the mountain and die in the Explorer. Tough call.

Could be neglect or you really drove the daisies out of it. I’ve seen a lowered Integra sedan destroy a set of brand-new Walmart-special tires after just a few autocross runs...although he was over-driving and plowing it through the corners.

I’ll be in Costa Rica for a bachelor party the last weekend of July, and then the first weekend of August I’ll be at a bachelor party in New Orleans. Would love to go, but I can’t do three weekends away from home in a row. Plus I’d have to take off and I’ve already a good amount of vacation already.

Very true. It was a weird off-brand tire that didn’t even match the other three.
But anyway, I just had a look at the venue, and damn... that’s pricey. I may have to miss out on this one. Even if I find a roommate, that’s still almost $200 or so.

I would like to go. Some friends and I have discussed a trip down there (schemed around the time of the CA trip)
, get this, the following weekend. If that plan goes through, I can’t make it for the Oppo one. If the plans-with-friends falls through (I’d give it 50/50 at this point) I’d like to
come down for the Oppo meetup.

August is a busy month! Miatas at the Dragon is actually the week before the Oppo Meet and I’d rather have a less-crowded mountain to enjoy! The following weekend is Gridlife at Road Atlanta which I thought about but ultimately I can’t do two big weekend events back to back.

I plan to be there with the GTI, hoping there will me more like a dozen of us (c'mon people) . August is busy enough, but I don’t intend to back out and lose my deposit on the room.

Nope, still in Florence. I have two friends in the region, one in a dark blue Miata with a rollbar that you might see at C&C or in the mountains. I sometimes visit Greenville, mostly to stop by my friend’s place or the junkyards.
